  5. By the end of the year, we'll probably have 90 classes for only 75 competitors, that way you can all win your class.

  6. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! I hope you all had a good time over the festive period and that Santa was good to you, if not your kitcar! I have two pieces of news for you all... Firstly, you'll notice from my member banner that I'm now the new AO for Scotland as Dave Clark has stepped down. Whilst our Club Chairman has, on behalf of the Committee and its Members, has officially thanked Dave for all his hard work and dedication over the years, I'd like to extend a personal thank you to him also. Dave has stated that whilst he's stepped down, we're not getting rid of him that easily and he plans to keep up an active role as a WSCC member and attend as many blats and trips as possible, in between working on his mega camper restoration and going to see Rod Stewart as much as he can! Thanks Dave! Secondly, as is our tradition, a pre-season meet is convened about this time. The meeting is to set some dates in our diaries for blats and other events for the year. I know we have a few popular annual events, but I'm also on the push for suggestions for some new additional routes too, so please get thinking about this for the meeting. Our meeting this year will be on Sunday 1st February 2015 at 11:30. The venue is the Isle of Skye (Toby Carvery) in Perth, Dundee Road, Perth, PH2 7AB. PLEASE note the new venue! The change in venue is to reflect, encourage and more involve, the growing membership from the Highlands. For the majority of the rest of us, it's only a slight increase in travelling times but I hope it doesn't discourage any of the 'regulars'. So c'mon guys, all try your best to attend!

  10. And another one ;- One more question when I joined WSCC I don't think I recieved a membership card so just wondered how I prove at signing on I'm a member of the club. In March before the first event, I will send out a Speed Series Pack, this includes a Membership/ Speed Series Card to use when signing on. It also includes your Championship stickers which must be displayed on the car. Together with Sponsor sticker (please display) and any other goodies I can get for you.

  11. Another good question:- 1. On the event list for 2015 we have both national A & national B events, as I currently only have a nat b licence does that mean I can not enter nat a events ? You can enter Nat A events with a normal Nat B licence without any problem. It's there as the club pays the MSA more for a Nat A event, but it does then allow the British Sprint or Hillclimb to compete in the event.

  13. Think I collected both parts of my kit in a long wheel base transit type affair. Chassis in the first collection, then bodywork a few months later. Edit: not sure if that will work if you don't have detachable arches mind

  19. Great news Scott. Seems like a good trade, lose wife keep son and car, result so to speak. Now in time you need to find a hot new girl friend, who loves your son and car and make sure your ex see's her! All joking apart, great you are over the worst without resorting to wood chippers and pig farms

  21. Hi Craig, just to help you sleep easy, when I drop my sump off ready to fit the anti slop tray, I'll take some pics before cleaning to give you an idea of what you may have seen. I'm sure all will be well in this respect. You can't go wrong with a K&N.
