The Best thing about Christmas dinner today was Daughter walking into my kitchen and me popping a cooked chestnut into her mouth and asking "Do you like that"? She says... "Yes, what was it"? "Pickled Venison Balls" was my reply and as we were having venison for dinner it was a believable lie. The look on her face was ... Well you can picture that for yourself. She said after that she had just run her tongue over the wrinkly surface of the nut and was wondering what it was and so the timing was perfect. Cheers All and hope your day was funny as mine.
