  1. Well after what was predicted to be a nice dry Friday this is what we got. I went for a 60 mile drive along A-Roads from Bristol upto BTEC Racing , Chipping Norton a few weeks later than most of the guys here who attended the Car Health Check Day. Got there in the dry, had the geometry all checked and it all seems near enough balanced without any adjustment. Left Front: 166.5kg Left Rear: 178.5kg Right Front: 159kg Right Rear: 180kg Overall Weight (1/2 tank of fuel) 684 kg. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w6f9dzyos9n41zu/photo%201.JPG https://www.dropbox.com/s/iuxswlkvrkg9bwz/photo%202.JPG https://www.dropbox.com/s/0rmwpc968uxnjr1/photo%203.JPG As for the dyno a pleasant and standard as expected 126 BHP (@ Fly) and 98 BHP (@Wheels) with 123 lb/ft, video here: Excuse the wet weather gear being on - it was pouring down and to aid getting in and out just peeled the top back. Now with these checks ticked off, and told the brake pads look pretty much like new I'm 'ready' for the track day health check. First time I've really driven the Westfield that distance bar the day I picked it up about 8 weeks ago and that was wet, first time, motorway, so a bit on edge, driven a few 10-30 mile round trips and around Bristol. Even in the rain, had a great time - even had a random guy on a bus stop put his thumb up to me on the way through a random village.

  5. Yesterday after what seems an eternity looking I viewed and bought my first Westfield. It's a SEW 1999 1.6 cvh. 200 miles done already but may need medical help as I fear I may be stuck with a permenant ear to ear grin!

  7. I still consider myself to be a newbie despite having my car since early March - the grin won't go! I got soaked last Sunday and was still grinning at the sheer lunacy of driving an open top car in a deluge of biblical proportions!

  8. It's not a doctor you want, what you really need is to come and join the Manchester boys on one of our blats, also you could come to one of our monthly meetings at the Horton arms in Chadderton, just a short blat over the A627M for you.

  10. I have my 1800 Ford Zetec engine which has a low line sump fitted (bought some years ago from a member on this forum) and a black powder coated cam cover. Engine was new as supplied from Westfield in 1997 and has covered around 30k miles. £200 + P+P please note - as I work away from home, I won't be able to send any items out until I'm back at the end of the month - sorry !

  20. I've finally got round to finishing this Photobucket isn't quite playing ball as I can't upload anything over 1Mb which would then enable me to upload them in a format that would allow you to edit them for colouring yourselves Anyhow here's the finshed result If anyone fancies making their own, I've produced a few in the most common standard Westfield colours, if you'd like a different colour combination of nose or arches then post up and I'll see what I can do for you enjoy Post Office Red Orange Lime Green Electric Blue Crimson Cream Chrome Yellow Chrome Yellow with Black Nose and Arches Burgandy British Racing Green British Racing Green with Yellow Nose Baby Blue
