  2. Thanks Bernie, car came with a pop on cover that kept most of the water out. Massive thanks for the loan of the trailer, really owe you. I would have been invisible due to the spray so saved me a rough drive! Thanks again to Dave who gave up a whole day to drive me up and tow the car back. Whenever you need a hand just give me a shout. Also thanks to those people who gave me advice through the buying process and for Chris having the car and parts all ready and wrapped up for when we arrived (and Barry for use off the toilet, thought Dave was going to burst).

  3. If you want to go the turn buckle approach, McGill Motorsport is an excellent source for the right and left hand threaded rose joints, along with the right hand/left hand threaded bit in the middle. Good prices too. Here you go, turnbuckle links, clicky If you want a more budget version of the rose jointed turnbuckle, try a chandler/boat yard, they usually have turnbuckles available for tensioning lines on boats.

  5. Very pleased Dave and Mark are stepping in to work with Peter on the mag, great stuff gents. Their knowledge of both AO activity and technical brains suit the roles perfectly, and can assist Peter in ensuring time-sensitive articles get published in the appropriate issues. In addition, they can provide feedback to authors on their submissions and work with the other AOs to encourage them and their members to contribute more. I hope everyone also looks at the past issues in the Downloads section for ideas and direction and communicate with the team. We will also be tapping our sponsors for technical articles of interest. Well done Dave and Mark, thank you.
