I'm part-exing my daily driver and find myself wracked with guilt at what feels like my betrayal!
She's an Alfa 156 twin spark in dark metallic green with biscuit momo leather, but just a little too thirsty in fuel and oil to justify keeping. In 3 years and 30k she's given no problems and scrubs up nicely despite the patina of 10 years.
I know I was less thorough as I cleaned and vac'd her, then swapped out the DAB headunit for the old stereo then emptied out the bit and pieces I always carry in a car. All the while she sat there looking beautiful in the rain.
I've got a few more days before I hand her to the 'slave traders', and I don't know if she'll go with dignity or become suddenly vengeful, but right now I feel terrible.
But then there's the excitement of the new car...
