I have to echo what has been said by many people on this thread already, fantastic service received from Clare and the rest of the team and will most certainly be giving them a call when our other car insurance is due for renewal.

Dave, don't sell yourself cheap, these, "physically fit , reliable and honest." are very rare attributes and are worth a good salary on their own.

Everyone uses cheques to pay the supermarket. We use the Carte Bleu, a bank card. Credit cards are expensive here as you have to pay an annual fee. A lot of benefits are paid in food vouchers which cannot be used for alcohol or ciggies (ciggies aren't on sale other than at the Tabac which is normally a bar) so you get a fumble for the vouchers then the cheque book and all this doesn't start until all the items have been scanned through and packed into the shopping bags. We, of course, plan ahead, and have the loyalty card and bank card ready.

The entire fleet is now insured with A-Plan - cheaper than Admiral Multicar, and even cheaper then they could go down to when I told them I was leaving.

I have come to the conclusion that mirrors are adjusted to normal height cars and hence westies are lower and easily missed. Always do your best to make sure you are seen, drop a gear and make some noise :-) or use your dipped lights and pull out with lots of space until you know your cars capabilities. Enjoy .
