  1. And when times of trouble strike, moral support from a bunch of people you may have never met, that share your pain our fears and help you get thru tough times. I speak from experience...

  2. I think it is a massively satisfying feeling to be a part of a group that all seem to have hearts of golds, some of the threads of recent have deffo been sad, and it's heart warming to see people offer such support in peoples times of need, such a rare thing to see these days, people being genuine and nice, can always count on something making you smile on here, especially if youre having a day of doom and a feeling of resentment to all of mankind!

  3. Any one of those looks good, Jon. Depends which one is the first dry day! I suggest we should invite Mr Loader out for some track day tuition, too!

  4. I have never been a great fan of Tesco since they opened up in our local county town in the 80s, undercut the 13 independant grocers till they all closed then moved to a mega site 8 miles away leaving the town with no supermarket for several years and 40% empty shops. I was smiling when Tesco were lumped in with Iceland Aldi and Lidel buying horse meat from Eastern Europe, even more so when a Morrison spokesperson explained they only used british beef, some farms they owned but they owned all of their slaughter house's, (he was almost bursting to say we would notice if there were horses in the queue). I wonder how many other food products contain unknown dodgy ingredients??. You dont make £1 million a day profit without cutting a few corners, still " every little helps "

  6. I am really tempted, but I don't really know the car that well given that I've only done a couple of track days and prior to owning this had only ever driven front wheel drive diesels!!!! Also holding me back is that I want to make the most of what will be a fair bit of effort getting to the different venues, and if I only end up getting to do three laps for the whole day and I spin off on two of them, I will be disapointed! I feel if I spend a bit longer getting the feel of the limits of the car, I'll enjoy the competition more. I think Castle Combe is one of the earlier events and thats only just over an hour away. I think I'll pop along and see what its all about!
