  1. I've just seen this on another forum about the resurfacing and recommissioning of the Rest & Be Thankfull hillclimb in Scotland. Following the demise of the "new" road, due to landslips in the recent bad weather, the local authority are now re-surfacing the old road to use as a bypass. The alternative route is currently a 50 mile detour. When not in use, i.e. when the new road gets repaired again, it is likely to be made "available" for motorsport. Picture the good old days of rallying when Ari Vatanen drove the hill & broke his differential in the "famous Scottish Rally Diff incident". To get going again they stopped a road going MK1 Capri to nick the diff from & left the owner to get his car (with no axle) back to the dealership. Great stuff - enjoy!!!! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xd8nrs_ari-vatanen-differential-problem_sport

  4. English farmers are bad enough, French farmers are a breed unto themselves. At least over here, they don't complain they don't make any money while driving around in a new Ranger Rover. A neighbour in the UK explained that his accountant said he had to buy a new Ranger Rover every year. He further explained it didn't mean he was rich.

  5. A second thumbs up from me too I already had the Westfield insured with A-plan and have just changed the tin top to being with them too. I already knew my insurer was taking the P with their renewal quote for this year but Claire and Neil saved me a whopping £350 :t-up: Thanks

  6. The lovely Clare has just knocked £100 of Adrian Flux's renewal for this years insurance on the VX220. Natrually, I'm now with a-plan. Super work Clare, looking forward to meet you at Stoneleigh 2013. Chaz.
