  1. So, out on a blatt today.....**** me my car's fast.....anyway....got home and pulled into the drive. Got out, turned around to see a police car parked across my drive. They shouted something that I couldn't hear at first. I thought they were going to give me a 'telling off' for giving it 'the beans' on the way up the hill to my house....but....'we just stopped to admire your car!' Ha ha, I strolled over and had a 5 minute conversation about Westfields, Caterhams, (Caterham is 2 miles from me!) and the Old Bill's favourite....Ariel Atoms. Obviously, I put him off Atoms (to impractical) and Caterhams (far too expensive!!!!) So he left wanting a Westy....good job he didnt see my illegal, undersized front plate! Cue recent pics alongside slightly more glamorous friends:

  6. Then it happened…....while the boys waited for this years appearance from the Swedish womens beach volleyball team, word went around that we were in the presence of greatness. No, not the famous miracle man Matt the pump, but a genuine musical legend was actually in the Applecross campsite and was headed straight for Camp McWesty to make a guest appearance! Ladies and gentlemen, i give you, the one, the only, legend or is it LEG end? all the way from the glamorous, glitzy Dunfermline, Fife, for one night only, SNOOP-DOV!!! I'm sure he'll grow into that t-shirt when he's older Unfortunately I didn’t take video evidence of him busting his moves infront of the full length mirror, but that guy has a serious fetish for playing with his own nipples-maybe its a music star thing? A great weekend, with great weather, great scenery, great people, great laughs and an appearance by a music legend. The icing on the cake was getting home in time to sit with a few beers and watch England getting pumped out of a football competition once again on penalties. If Carslberg did weekends…… A big thanks to Snoop Dov, Wing commander Bob & Lorna for all the organising & food and i'm assured the lovely ladies from the Swedish womens beach volleyball team below will return for Applecross 2013 Roll on next June

  7. When we reached the start of the famous Bealach na Bà,I went on ahead to wait at the 2nd of the alpine hairpins for the guys to blast up the mountain, where the views and the noise of the other Westys hammering up the mountain was absolutely incredible. I could hear the noise of the cars booming through the mountain valley 2 or 3 minutes before they appeared.

  8. If he hasn't done anything illegal then where's the problem? Could it be the Government who allow such schemes to be legal?

  9. I don't think anyone's calling him a numpty. It's just his tyres were shot and he didn't have the pace to defend. It was the opposite situation in Canada were Lewis had the pace on good tyres and got past everyone after the last pitstop. He still had enough of the race to go with DRS against him that he should have been thinking about the drivers championship rather than a single place in a single race. I'm still a massive Hamilton fan, that's why I get frustrated when I see gaps opening in the drivers championship that could have been avoided. Having said that, it's in his blood and you can't avoid instinct.
