Mmm... very true Robin and if I had a spare pair of Y fronts, then miby. But unfortunately I'm now over 300mls and 5hrs away, enjoying my first beer of the day. Have a great night

Kinda thinking I should've just stayed for the food and beer. Sure someone would've have spare room in their tent.
-
It had holes! They got blocked by bits of gravel/stones and stopped draining - plus your butt blocks them anyway 😁

for sale Factory Built Westfield - Limited Edition Sport Carbon
Westy Si posted a topic in Westfields for Sale
Factory built, number 12 of 25 limited edition Sport Carbon model, thought to be the only one in this fantastic colour. It comes with a 1.8 ZETEC engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and is fitted with Jenvey fuel injected throttle bodies and a Coolex all aluminium race quality radiator. To ensure this Westfield goes as good as it looks, I recently spent £3,300 with Westfield experts Northampton Motorsport on a new ECU, wiring loom, Bosch injectors, coolant temp sensor, air temp sensor, lambda sensors and rolling road dyno tuning (with printout), resulting in 159 useable horsepower with plenty of torque, that's a real pleasure to drive. Ideal for touring, especially with the carpeted lockable rear boot box and glove box, or a Sunday morning blast. It has a Momo quick release steering wheel, twin speed heater, and twin illuminated USB sockets to charge a phone or other device. It has bespoke carpeting with the Westfield sports cars emblem, a rare rear diffuser / splitter, spare wheel and carrier, full roof/hood (never used by me), side screens, and tonneau cover with a half zip. It was first registered 8th September 2000 and has covered just over 15k miles. It has a long MOT with no advisories. I've had the privilege of owning this lovely Westfield for the past 5 years. I purchased it from my neighbour who had owned it for 15 years. It comes with extensive history dating back to the original owner and paperwork including 20 years worth of MOT's. This car has been well cared for and pampered, only driven in dry weather, and always stored in the garage. It is HPI clear and has been used only on the road. Personal registration will be removed prior to sale when it will revert to its original registration number X912 OBK. Price: £11,750 Call: 07748 576916 Car is located in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.-

Yep I found the same. They don't do well on very high powered kits in the damp I know at much. My 330bhp Fury back in the day was lethal with them fitted.

The old bikers fave v-wipe sorts the visor issue. But no amount of goretex can save you if you spend 3-4hrs sat in a bucket (seat) of water!

Damn I miss the hog roast n beer* from a few years ago. Really must make the effort next year! * and great company of course 🤣

Not sure why they make them in any other colour other than red tbh. -
I'd planned on going as I missed the show by about a week last year. Glad I didn't go actually as I would have only got half way with a trail of coolant and probably fuel behind me. I've only driven it about 4 times so far this year and not very far. I have cleaned up the inside of my headlights. Hopefully it will allow a bit better beam pattern for the MOT. It doesn't make up for not going though.

You and me both Captain ☹️

I wish I was there too, especially at hog roast time, but the fates have conspired against me today.

I wear gortex fishing trousers if im out and expecting rain can sit in water and not get wet only the visors a problem no wiper on it and an aeroscreen I use r888r don't mind the slippy slider in the wetty grippers bit just have to be careful on the brakes as they can snatch really quick and slide

It's almost like everyone is off enjoying themselves somewhere...

Hey, I'm looking for a Nodiz ECU for a reasonable price and hope to find one here as they are a bit too expensive for my liking in FB marketplace. Greetings Patrick

I have no idea why but no matter which picture I load of the battery it gets posted upside down! I've tried 6 different versions now 🤣 -

Fitted a new Jack Webb Motorsport LiFePo4 battery. What a MASSIVE improvement this has made, not only does the engine absolutely fly round, it starts in less than 1.5 seconds, and..... my turbo boost leak issue looks like it may have been battery related and not boost leak. Will know for sure tomorrow!
