Ok just had an email from Burghley House - they are happy for us to go further than the car park area for photos and have asked for a small donation towards to the Burghley House preservation trust which I am very happy to do as we love the place - the water gardens and surrounding gardens are superb if you have not been before

I will take care of this but if anyone wants to chuck a quid in that's cool  :t-up:

Just awaiting exact confirmation as to where we can go as they have mentioned a barrier needs to be lifted for us

Hi all

As i'm only part built I can't join you yet but I am a Cambridgeshire resident. However if you want a decent pub location for photos try the Pike and Eel at Needingworth near St Ives. I'ts got a massive car park on the river Ouse edge and is adjoined by a marina. Great food aswell. Just a suggestion.

Good idea. There is also the Ferry of course where we usually meet anyway which also has a river frontage.
