Cleggy the Spyder Man
Well back to the build - or should I say dismantling - had another good session with me old m8 Jago and managed to lift the engine out - it was quite manageable with two The engine is now out and resting on the floor - the bracket is attached to the casing ready for lifting onto the stand (need some m8's for that bit) Unfortunately I did not have any bolts long enough so you can guess where I visited today This one shows the gearbox and axle/drum fully un-bolted ready for some m8's to come give me a lift -- come on it's a team effort This pictures shows the only nut/bolt that has proved to be a total b***h to get un-done - would of helped if I had of had a suitable sized socket - but hey I dragged out an old family heirloom - a rather rusty but large adjustable spanner - so with the help of a jack under the drum and a sledgehammer I gently teased the nut loose Here are the axle adjusters - need to ring a new contact with the knowledge to fit them next week - you will also notive some bling items - nothing too tacky just a bit of alloy here n there with some nice yellow ignition leads More bling - probably getting ahead of myself here - but boy does it make me feel better This picture just makes me feel a bit better about life in general and this one just cause I felt like it - wont be long before your back in the garage - she's been left at work and is feeling a bit neglected at the moment

Cleggy the Spyder Man
Couldn't afford Buttons button off his shirt More progress - managed to man handle the gearbox/drive shaft/drum assembly off myself this morning and with Tony and Daves (Dave from Leicester) help we managed to get the engine onto the stand (thanks Dave from Peterborough) way too many Dave's involved in this time for a shuffle around in the garage to make room and make things a bit easier to work on - chassis temporarily lifted up out of the way whilst engine and gearbox get moved to the back of the garage
