Salut Reggio... always happy with your new toy ?

Of course.

Laughing a lot with the "live axle"!  ???

What do you mean ? more "tape-cul" than planned ?

News for Wendy : I have ordered wheels directly to Rimstock. Within two weeks, Wendy will have nice 15" Team Dynamics Proce 1.2 with Toyo T1R.

Who could be interested in nice Wolfrace Octane 17" wheels ?

Exactly; "tape-cul" is the right behaviour, but I'm not upset with this.

Thanks for your offer, but I've planned the same wheels as yours for the future! Where did you get it and for which £*$?

Best,

R.

Some news : but bad news...

Yesterday I crashed the car. I lost control coming out from a roundabout, too much throttle with a slippery road... I crashed in the grass but hit a roadsign with rear and a small tree with the nose.

Result : the car is running but with a leaky fuel tank and a smashed bodywork !

I post a "parts wanted" in the appropriate section for bodywork parts (tub, ducted nose cone, boot box, rear o/s wing)

Some news, some GREAT news :

The car is repaired, here is a small list of what was upgraded / changed / repaired

- new front wishbones (old lower chrome ones were bent, not from the crash but looks like bad conception)

- new protech shocks

- new nose (Thanks to Flat_Eric)

- front ARB removed (no track use, only road)

- spare wheel removed (weight chase + look)

- new color (from burgundy to black)

- new front indicators (old ones were the aluminium cast ones, and heavy as a brick)

- new side repeaters (from orange to smoky ones)

- carpets removed (bare ally easier to clean)

- carbon inner side pannels

- carbon rear arches protection

AND : The car is now fully registered in Belgium.

Here she is :

I missed the post about the crash  ???

Are you sure ? Are you really sure ? look here        :D  ;)  :p

Anyway, thank you for the compliment about the car and yes, I will drive carefully and will be very careful with wet roads. I learned the hard way but I feel lucky because only my ego and my wallet have suffered from the crash.

Some news :

I will visit the Stoenleigh Kit Car show this year after a roundtrip in Wales. So I needed some accessories : a hood bag and and a boot bag, here they are :

The boot bag was made by a man called Milson (milson.w@ntlworld.com). He sells sometimes boot bags for Tiger cars on ebay. Free choice for the piping. He had the template for the Westfield, I just gave him the distance between the tubes of the rollbar. Construction seems very strong.

Hood bag was made by Lesley (lesley@heligan.gotadsl.co.uk) who also proposes her items on ebay. Very nice hood bag and free color choice for the embroidered 7 logo.
