I always turn in too early to tower, the 20mins I did the other week at Croft with an instructor sat beside me he commented on it , same with Hairpin he told me to almost run out of track  before turning the wheel  he told me to turn in as late as poss then straight back on the throttle , I took all this on board when he was sitting beside me but still didnt do it on sunday    :bangshead:  :bangshead:

I think you want to be turning in before the cone in all honesty. Look at jeffs vid, he turns in earlier than the cone, but it works a treat. I'm just making the corner longer than it actually is! Kinda going via darlington :D

as Jeff says, its what the instrructors recomend. I have marshalled at Tower and believe me the fast boys are righ on the white line where the apron starts before they turn in. :suspect:

It also makes me laugh the people who turn left through the chicane from Clerveaux to Hawthrons, get your line right and you straight line it and just turn right round Hawthorns :p

I agree with that, but as my bro said, it's a bit un-nerving sat in the passenger seat, skirting the gravel trap, and heading for a solid looking black and white post!
