Cambridge Area "Testing Evening"

I have now booked in a two hour time slot at Oakington Airfield on Friday 22nd April 2005.

The time slot is from 18:00 to 20:00 (or 17:45 to 19:45 if it suits better)

There is space for 10 cars.

There is a (nominal) 100 Decible noise limit (can we borrow your meter please Liam).

The cost is £35 per car (no extra cost for additional drivers)

For your £35 you will get 2 hours to do pretty much what you want on about 1.6km of airfield

Payment needs to be made as we leave (or they shut the gate and leave us to rot)

Please confirm your place below.

Chaz.

I'll have one of those spaces please Mr Slide.

I may be able to borrow a noise meter from work. I'll see a bit nearer the time.

Any idea on what we will be testing ?? i done a short 'autotest' type course at Heyford yesterday, so we may be able to replicate something similar.

I know I am not part of your area Chaz but could I provisionally book 2 places please. I also have a noise meter.

Wookie if you want to pop round or meet up on the 3rd (SG7's) we can test it then.

As much as I'd like to say, "Yes, please," I very much doubt if the car will be ready.  Infact... I'm 100% sure so, why did I type this? ???  God only knows :)

Chaz, can you put me down for the last place please?

I live near Wookie so will be coming to some of your area meetings soon anyway.

Thanks

Thanks Triggsy.

That's the 10 places made up.

If anyone is still interested post up and I'll see if I can increase numbers.

I'll post up further details in the next week.

I'll need a lift :( I'll bring the digicam and get some footage of the antics along with the digital stills-camera.

As I've spotted a few more faces on here, and you wish to be added to the WSCC/Cambridge website (which I build), could I have a photo and spec's of your car, please?

Have a look at www.wscc.co.uk/area/cambridge (MEMBERS section)

...if you like, to see what I need.

That also goes for the rest of you 'orrible lot that have upgraded.  All in good time, of course!

Plug over with.

Thanks,

Neil
