Nick M
Call me an old cynic but it seems odd how some of the cars seemed to magically go 1/2 second quicker compared to last year
Nick M
I just don't accept that original is always best. And being 6'6" tall, I have different priorities when I choose a car perhaps than some. I don't disagree on either point - it's exactly the reason why, at 6' 3" I have a Westfield (which I built myself) rather than an old Caterham. I was just pointing out that the Caterham is as close to an original Lotus Seven as you can get in this day and age.
Chris Elworthy
I am also 6'3" and I find that my Westfield has the best headroom of any of the cars that I've owned / kept. This is something that Westfield can be rightly proud of in such a comapct design.
neilwillis
I am not disputing the fact that they're close to the original design. All I question is the fact that something that is original is special. If it's close, OK, but original it aint. Anyone who owns a Lotus 7 should be proud of the fact, but owning a 2003 Caterham can't have the same kudos, so why do some pretend it does? Try printing some replica tenners, and see where that gets you!
