windy
A Lotus with Vauxhall badges. Best way to get a bargain. Definitely go for it, you won't be disappointed. But stay away from the dealers when you come to service it or get the little niggles looked at, because they'll no doubt make thinks worse (from experience). I'm waiting till they get to 12k before buying I reckon. What about a Lotus Carlton for 10k then?
Matt Seabrook
Very capable car. I have had the privilege of chucking one round a track and they are very good. But would still have a Westy over a VX220 any day
oioi
been looking at them as a daily driver very nice and prices seem to be dropping to the 14-15k mark still out of my league tho
shaun
Kerb weight (kg) 930 Max power (bhp/rpm) 200/5500 Max torque (lb ft/rpm) 184/1950 0-60mph (sec) 4.7 Max speed (mph) 151 It's on the hefty side - 200bhp sounds good, but only equates to 215bhp per ton. £17990 will by you a good Elise and 180kg lighter
Matt Seabrook
I don't intend getting rid of the Westy.............. Glad to here it would not want to see you disappear for the boardroom.

scruffythefirst
What about a Lotus Carlton for 10k then? Hmm, tell me more A set of disks and pads is over £2k. No headgaskets, or if they made some they didnt make any head bolts. All the companies that chipped them didnt uprate the injectors which is bad.
