We have rental scooters in the nearby town and they get left around the place regardless of the presence of proper parking stations. I just feel sorry for that lad (lass?) because he was enjoying himself on an empty pathway and the consequences of that impact could affect him for life. he may be a pain in the arris but he doesn't deserve being paralysed - and that is not impossible to imagine. Yep - and he just crossed a public footbridge on it too. I was out walking my two dogs on the pavement about a year ago when some fundament came silently flying up from behind us, missing us by an inch and scaring both dogs something awful.
