I love the metallic greys, of that sort of shade, it was quite popular on lots of sixties classic Ferraris, teamed up with the  tobacco coloured interior, it was a superb colour combo; one I’ve always fancied for the Westfield, but would really work well on a Cobra!

Might be a bit lighter tan but agree a lovely combo. Although I do love a deep red on grey aswell.

Ah but if you looked back through the thread there is a big clue, maybe even the answer!

Colours chosen and 2 large leather hides will be ordered on Tuesday!

Quick scan, found the above. Trouble is leather can be dyed 🤭

You are on the right track Adge but too far back in the thread (not by much though)

Ok enough lockdown boredom guessing.

I got the pair of seats that I bought secondhand right at the start of the project recovered. The door card blanks also got covered. So this all matches

I still have half a hide left so need to make up some templates for other areas to see where that remaining hide can be used.

The paint adventure is close to conclusion now. @Marto303 has been hard at work again.

The car got flatted back once more.

The intention was at this point to lay masking tape on to set the stripes out and spray them on. I met with Martin while it was still dark this morning to

agree the set out and pretty quickly changed my mind. The colour is so nice in my eyes I didn’t want to cover any of it up.

Once Martin had stopped swearing at me I left him to work his magic. So some more clear coats were applied which has given it a nice depth.
