Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted April 7, 2022 Author Posted April 7, 2022 Oh no, what a mess, hope you feel ok and it is vehicle damage only, it's sorting it all out that is such a faff. Take care and hope you feel well enough to join us at the weekend xxxx Quote
Scotty72 Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 Can't make this weekend but car is in for MOT next Tuesday (It's been sat in the garage since October!). Hopefully it passes so me and Charlie can join in soon 👍 2 Quote
NigelO Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 If the weather is OK, I might just be up for this - first run out of the year. Had a quick shakedown run last weekend after changing the coolant - just got to pull the dash & scuttle off on Saturday to fit a CTEK charging point and all should be OK for Sunday 2 Quote
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted April 8, 2022 Author Posted April 8, 2022 Don't you love this time of the year when @Scotty72, @NigelO and other old friends come out of hibernation, @Chris Emm is hoping to come too, brill, can't wait to see you all. Good luck with the MOT Scott and look forward to seeing you both, perhaps over Easter. Nigel, if you get chance could you bring the gear knob please? Sadly the Bull i Thorn is not reopening for the summer season, the plan is for it to be converted back into a pub, so we will have to slum it at Mucky D's for a while longer until I can find elsewhere to meet. 2 Quote

Luke78Mids Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 I’m hoping to get across to this one all being well with the weather. See you tomorrow 3 Quote
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Well, I'm a definite 👍 We have a small convoy (4 cars so far) leaving the A50/A38 services at 915am if anyone wants to tag along 2 1 Quote
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Not for me, sadly. I'm on a day out to London with the 'outlaws' by train. 3 Quote
Andy_R Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Not sure if anyone is interested but I'll have this passenger foot rest with me tomorrow morning if anyone wants it. It was custom made for me by a member in Yorkshire and has a nice lip at the back to allow for storage of a small bag (I used a small black cooler bag as it was hard for anyone to see I had anything hidden behind the step). There is velcro on the bottom to stop it slipping. It was made for the wide bodied and fitted both my X-Flow & SEiGHT. It cost me a beer so if anyone is interested all I'll want for it is a drink or slice of cake when we stop for lunch. 1 Quote
