Peak District Run Out, Sun 19th Dec, 10am, Matlock McD's OUTSIDE ONLY

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Meet at McDonalds, Matlock, DE4 3AU at 10am for the last run out before Christmas.

Please dress to  stay OUTSIDE as we will meet on the tables at the front entrance of McDonalds. I am thinking that we might go for lunch at The Rambler Inn, Edale as they have undercover heated seating OUTSIDE.

The weather is forecast fair right up to Christmas due to a blocking high apparently, so let's get out there and enjoy it, who is joining us?

Sorry. Work has got in the way of the last two and I am clay busting again on Sunday. Have a great time and a brilliant Christmas.

It was a shame that you missed the Santa Run, Gemma and your little ones would have enjoyed the train station at the end and you could have just met us there.

Have a great Christmas and hope to see you all in the New Year xxx

Sorry, I peaked for the year last week... can't manage another one this year :p

The truth....Kirsty is vaccinating all day, so I'm on dog walking duty.

Have a good day.

Excuse 78 (page 44) from the Trevor Trouble book of excuses special Covid edition. Available from all good booksellers and an ideal Christmas present for the person who has everything. 😀😀

But are you on page 44 Mr Clarke?😁

On a serious note (only for a minute) I have made this event OUTSIDE only due to COVID.

I’ll be AWOL again, I’m afraid, but that’s it then hopefully! And normal service will resume.

It was soooo good to have you and your frivolity back with us last week, you have been missed, it is nice to hear that you will be joining us again very soon. Oh, a tip for when you do come back, watch out for pink cats in hot places😻

For anyone that thinks it is a bit cool for coming out in your Westfield and then sitting outside, it is forecast to be 6 degrees on Sunday morning, that is much warmer than the 1 degree it was in Matlock Bath today, plus you might be wearing more clothes too.

Tip - I recommend wearing a few more clothes 😃

You will not necessarily be in the company of the mentally sane though.
