Meet at Tagg Lane Dairy, Bakewell, DE45 1JP, 10am.

 

We have been today to find the toilets are back open and you can even sit inside.

 

On the menu is cake, ice cream, cake and ice cream, panninis, toasted tea cakes, did I mention cake and ice cream? oh, cake and ice cream are on the menu. 

 

Afterwards we can go for a run on a carefully chosen route and find some normal food for lunch. 

 

Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you breakfast Peak District style.

 

 

Ice cream made on the premises by Jack. He is looking forward to receiving the robots this week that will milk the Jersey cows. 

 

 

 

 

Weather forecast currently is good but I will update the post nearer the weekend to finalise the details. UPDATE. YES THIS IS ON. WEATHER IS STILL FORECAST GOOD.

 

Mine is the Bakewell cake with Raspberry Ripple ice cream, what will you have?

My stepson is in the Army Cadets, and being it's Remembrance Sunday, I may be required part of the day as "dad taxi"!

 

He's just had his new uniform after weeks of waiting, so I'm currently having to teach him what creases go where, how to shape his beret, fix his cap badge, polish his boots etc etc.... I'm already having flashbacks of the CSM screaming in my ear 😂

It’s a maybe from us. Depends on our dart throwing skills. Our club is holding  a darts tournament, which starts Saturday lunchtime. If either/ both of us get through the group stages then I fear that the drinking involved will make a Sunday morning drive most in advisable 😊
