Cheshire & N. Staffs Area Meet, Thursday 1st July, the Golden Pheasant.

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman

The next monthly meet date is almost on us already!

However, due to holidays, I know several of us are probably unlikely to make it, myself included.

If you fancy going, I suggest you post up here, and check whether anyone else is!

See you next time!

For those that are planning on coming to the meet I have spoken to a few people and we are planning a run from the golden pheasant over to the cat and fiddle for some sunset pictures. So those that are interested met as normal for half 7 then head off around 8 for a run?

I'm not going to be able to make it this week. Enjoy the run out and get some great photos!

Myself and Andy will be there at 7:30 but when everyone goes off for a drive we are off for a steak pie.

Good to see @elrik @Si.Dalziel @Westie66 @Andy Wallwork @David lear last night. @Si.Dalzielwas that worried I wouldn't make it back from a 3 day tour of Yorkshire that he tracked me via Whatsapp and found us on the M6, escorted us the Golden Peasant. Sadly his sheepherding skills weren't so good as  @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary @Stu Faulkner and @Greenstreak-Andy D escaped!

As the convoy was passing by me anyway and the fact@Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO Had been sharing his location all day it seemed rude not to join the weary travellers for a bit.

I got a wave from about half a mile away from @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary, then came @Stu Faulkner, @Greenstreak-Andy D and finally @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO pointing into the sky at something.

After a brief stop a few of us did indeed sample the splendid tarmac of the new Congleton bypass (I’m not sure it would be wise to show footage of that)

Then onto a quick sunset stop at the Cat and Fiddle inn after avoiding a family of ducks.

For any animal lovers I was obviously joking about harming the ducks and they would have done more damage to the cars if we had gone through them.
