Andy Westwood
What a great day again thanks Julie the route was fantastic. It was great to meet everyone and chat. Really happy that yesterday's comments didn't spoil everyone's day. Organising 18 cars and staying together is hard work and thanks to Ian and Billy in assisting today. Sue says thanks for the Rolos. Thanks again for a great day and you are what makes this club great. Keep doing what your doing. 6

Popular Post Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Thank you for all the lovely messages both public and private, it makes it all worthwhile xxx. Let's hope the good committee of this club can take action to support the AO's and we can have lots more of these enjoyable days out uniterrupted. Big thank you to Ian and Bill for rounding up the rear. Quackers is proving to be a perfect meeting point, we had 18 cars in total. The seating area, service and food are all excellent. Competitive cake comparisons The car park holds all our cars well Luke wore the magnet with pride. He now has 2 track days and today's run out without incident under his belt so it was time to hand it back. What a great sense of humour you guys have. Scott was getting worried, Rob suggested we might swap the magnet for a sponge, let's see! Next we took to the road, straight off the big main roads and on to the quiet back roads, blissfully empty all the way. Front row seat Keeping 18 cars together was always going to be difficult and I could not have done it without the help of Bill and Ian but we got there and it all worked out. We arrived at The Bull I Thorn where Chris and Mo, and Luke and Gemma were waiting for us. Again this is a great establishment with food, service and car parking just right. Someone had a club sandwich and a coffee and forgot to pay, so if it was you then please can you send the money to Rob, it is easily done and isn't the first time, I wish they would take the money on ordering. The Bull I Thorn Garys Zetec engined MEV and the Andy's Tiger on show with us and always welcome, I just wish the Cobra could have made it. Glynn's car is the new grey one on the left and it caused quite a stir, the modern colouring and styling was admired a lot. Eat, drink and be merry, just like we used to before lockdown Emma, this is what your husband and son, Scott and Charlie, get up to in your absence Followed by this The 3 wise monkeys lurking in the background, speak no, see no and Luke laughing The 2 Andrews got the largest portions, it must be in the name, so if you are hungry just call yourself Andrew and you might get the same treatment. Luke joyfully handed the magnet back to me, so I am caretaking it, BE WARNED, it's hot, hot, hot for you Everyone went off on their long journey's home, leaving Andrew and us looking at the big orange thing in the sky, only one thing for it....more cake...so off we went to the Blue Lagoon at The Stone Centre. Home made cheesecake anyone? That also meant a drive down the Via Gellia and a pose through Matlock Bath on the way home, great finish. You have all driven miles to come today and I hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have, thank you for your effort and support, hope to see you all again soon. Not next weekend though as we are on holiday.

Oops. Thanks @RobH72 that was very kind of you to pay! Hopefully the forgetful member will be in touch with you. I had a club sandwich, but paid for mine. Not a drama, I thought it best to settle the bill so we didn't get banned from @Julie Hall - Peak District AO's favourite lunch stop. Even with the extra lunch, it was a cheaper run out than normal for me as nothing fell off the car! 😂😂
