Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Meet at Thornbridge Hall, Baslow Road, Ashford-in-the-Water, DE45 1NZ at 10am on Saturday. QUACKERS CAFE. After a catch up there will be a run round before stopping for lunch and finishing early afternoon. All members welcome and, as ever, if the weather forecast changes dramatically from the current 'light cloud' then I will review the situation. Who is joining us? 5 Quote

Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 I can't make this one I'm afraid, one of my lads is tieing the knot on Saturday so apparently the Westfield comes second.... who knew? 🤷♂️😂 Have fun, looking forward to loads of pictures of cake 👍 1 1 Quote
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted May 20, 2021 Author Posted May 20, 2021 A wedding before the Westfield? really? that's not a very good excuse 😃 @RobH72 apparently you will be having cake too, only it might be a bit more extravagant than ours, look forward to a photo! Have a great day and I hope it all goes well for you😍🔔❣️ 2 Quote

Scotty72 Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Can't do this weekend.... Next week (Bank Holiday weekend) is good for me and Charlie though if you're planning anything. Quote
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted May 21, 2021 Author Posted May 21, 2021 @Scotty72 we will absolutely be out over the Bank Holiday weekend, I will be watching the weather and picking the best day. It will be great to see Charlie too now that we are not restricted to 6 people. 2 Quote
JamesGN Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Providing the weather stays as predicted I'm in. Will be my first peaks meet 2 Quote
NigelO Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Can't make this one - sorry. Bodywork is still at the bodyshop and I reckon it will be late June before I'm mobile again. Hopefull the weather will a bit more Westie-friendly by then... 1 Quote
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted May 21, 2021 Author Posted May 21, 2021 Oh you lot are in for a treat, breakfast has arrived at QUACKERS cafe. What a difficult choice it will be though, all cakes and sausage rolls are made in their on-site bakery from the finest ingredients. What a shame @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO isn't bringing his own Kinderella, Charlotte, she would have loved this cake. Let's hope we can sit out here as we will be more than a group of 6, wrap up warm. Don't you just love a car park with no kerbs, please behave, donuts are not on the menu😄. 4 Quote
