Have been giving mine a post / pre trackday looking at. 👀

So far it's not looking too bad. A broken headlight lens, which I think was already cracked, but now has a hole. Probably @Chris King - Webmaster chucking wheel weights at me at Knockhill. 😉 New one ordered from CBS

 

Front tyres have another day in them, not checked rear. Front brakes getting thin, but I reckon another day.. rears not checked.

 

And finally, have tackled the poor gear change. I bought an expensive Quaiffe  gear stick months ago.. tried it, and it wouldn't select 5th gear. The problem was the tall collar limiting the travel needed for the six speed Cat box. Today, I bit the bullet and took an angry grinder to it! 🙂 Chopped the collar down, and I now have six gears.. just the reverse selection to sort. I can get it, but it's not easy. Probably needs a bit more attention from Mr Angry. 😉

Yep already in contact with Michael.. in fact him offering me double what I paid for the day helped with the decision....

Should be OK. Dave managed to swap me over OK. 

 

Infact people are cancelling because I got a call about a reserve place off MSV on Monday. 

 

Will still be a full day. Fingers crossed for better weather than july
