As a last intervention in the topic, I didn't want to suggest for a minute that your opinions get people killed on the street, im not that cynical nor I think you are that bad. My point was that some topics are controversial and sensitive enough that people gets killed on the streets because of them. Re Scott's @Captain Colonial topic... I was just following a bit the banter, but after recieving death threats and feeling how strong the dark side of the force is in him... I think Ill stay away from the danger and just blindly agree with him about everything. May the force be with you. 1 Quote

DonPeffers Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 Now for controversy---------------------------------------------- from Dream Weekend in Spain, Circuit de Calafat, Barcelona. By maurici, November 1, 2019 in Track Days. "Caterham S3 275R- This one was driven hard in mountain roads and in the track. Surprisingly, I enjoyed every bit of her. Out of the box, felt SOOOOOOOOOOO much better than our average Westfield (sorry guys, I'm a sinner) Ergonomy, and pedal feel was just outstanding, and I felt really confortable in her despite its narrow chasis."😐 2 Quote

maurici Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Anyone that drives a caterham from the factory... vs a Westfield from the factory will say this. A very different matter is a custom build westfield, and the bang for buck in a westfield vs caterham that is entirely a different debate... Don't suffer about my faith for westfields... i have owned 3 sevens in my life and caterham has never been the in the shopping cart... (I probably wouldn't be able to afford it anyway)🤣 Quote
DonPeffers Posted June 19, 2020 Author Posted June 19, 2020 I've owned both and know the differences, including price, durability (in my hands), and appreciate both. I see the naughty Captain has done a journo style quote. A minor leg-pull to lighten the mood is forgivable I hope. Quote
