That's a pretty strong background Agreed, she is a competition lawyer, but they would normally support a banker, not be the banker, but you may be right. She was however accused, and found guilty, of "thanking" Bernard Tapie with 404m Euro of taxpayers money. After the guilty verdict the French court decided that she would receive no punishment, or criminal record because of her international reputation. Quote
