I'll be there too.  Won't be until afternoon unfortunately.

Westy or Tin Top? - Good to see you again any which way!

Hi Dave, et al

Doubt I'll be as quick off the mark as you guys and it's a 2.5 hour drive, so see you around 11 at the Paddock 'restaurant'. Fingers crosse sit stays dry.

Did you get a spot in the paddock?

Dave

Believe in theory we can get our Westies into the paddock. I'm bringing the Dorset flag, think Chris has a Brisol one as well. So should stand out a bit!

See you there, don't forget the sun cream!

Yes they agreed we can ‘gather’ to the rear of the paddock.

Cracking day so far, about 8 westfields and Simon doing well on track. He kindly joined us for a photo to support our joint meet :d

Great to see some of the locals and not so local WSCC members converge on Castle Coombe to cheer on Simon Jones opening the WSCC Speed Series with a class win!

Simon very kindly took some time out in between practice and times runs for a photo and to talk us through his great car - 2.0 Duratec (NMS prepped).

Also great to put some faces to names, kick tires, lift bonnets and talk tech stuff.

Seeing the SBD 1.6 Ecoboost powered Westy was nice but my wallet was cringing at the cost of that beast!

Only 5 weeks until we are back at CC for the PJ Trackday with Costswolds Area on 29 April . Hope to meet more of you all there!

Thoroughly enjoyed my day out - I haven't been to Castle Combe since the early 80's - and good to meet you all and put faces to names. Many thanks Dave for organising and the invitation to join you all.

Good to me you Gareth. I hope you find a new car soon - then you can visit Combe again and go on track...

Hi guys and ladies , sorry for being late to the thread. Lucky we went home when we did as had a migraine heading homeward , so only just got out of bed . . Really enjoyed today and so did the latest wife. Put faces to names and chat lots of Westie stuff. Apologies for not cleaning the car before going :d. Was a great relaxed day. Liked our little parking spot too.

Will put the next Thrustyjust Meets when I get the one answer from the 'candidate' before Sunday evening :d
