Error when browsing to any member's profile page on mobile

When I go to any member's profile page, I get spammed with a million certificate errors, these have to be manually cancelled and Chrome will usually crash.

I am using the mobile site on Chrome for Android.

Which page precisely this appears on - there's thousands of members, so which one(s)

What network, mobile or wifi

Finally send me the link generated by whatismybrowser.com using the same device, browser and network.

I'll try and get a look, but am on holiday, so might not get time due to the requirement to go blatting in the Valleys

I've been getting this but thought it was my phone.

Get it when going into profiles as Peter but also when going into the messenger box aswell.

it could be that the member has a link in their signature that is pointing to another site - hence why I need more specifics. (via PM please)

Just tried a dozen profiles from my phone with no issue on Safari, will try Chrome, again tried a load of profiles with no problems.

As Uris said, it looks like he may need some specific info to track it down.

I've tried a few of the things that normally brings it up but sods law it's not doing it. It's completely random ie not one particular persons profile. 

I'm not convinced it isn't an android/chrome issue.

Not doing it for me on Android, chrome , or on iOS, safari. 

Previously when I’ve seen this behaviour it’s a browser hijack type of thing. 

Will look further when I’m back in from today’s blat.

Just tried the profiles of the users in this thread and it's not doing it any more! But has been 100% occurrence up to now for a few days

I had this too when viewing my own profile... Thought it was my phone.

Just tried again and I'm still getting the certificate error.

Just done it for me whilst randomly viewing a profile (Dave's if it matters)

Samsung galaxy s9 using chrome.

I get a similar error whenever I go to the Members Map.  This is on OSX on a laptop using Safari.

Ok the address refers to the server used to supply the “open map” data - so it’s not suspicious or malicious. 

The map data gets requested on the member map page and the profile pages - hence why this is where you see it.

Basically, we now have the forum on ssl everywhere instead of just at the login stage - so the warning is because the forum now uses https:// links everywhere and it looks like the open maps server is still on http:// and so doesn’t necessarily have a “proper” ssl certificate - so certain browsers throw a warning when it requests one.**

I’m happy there’s nothing dodgy happening, but I still need to look into it when I get back from holiday.
