What a cracking day today sunshine back on show, David and Elaine drove up to strathpeffer so we all set off and David led us on some fantastic back roads via culloden battlefield over to lochendorb to see the wolf of badenochs castle, from there we traveled over the  dava moor to grantown , then brig’o’broon to tomintoul and over the lecht through cockbridge stopping for a late lunch at corgarf

sadly this is where David and Elaine had to leave us

so Trina could see the difference half doors make we popped her into buttercup and off we set , the hill road over glen shiel was closed. So we had a wee detour to get to braemar then it was south via glenshee and across to Pitlochry. Up over and round loch tummel to aberfeldy for fuel before down the side of loch Tay to Killin a great days run, fantastic company and buetifull roads

I’ll be ordering a pair from carbon nv asap

along with the wind deflectors it makes a massive difference she said it really reduced the turbulence and drafts without feeling enclosed or shut in

I should think after all those big breakfasts Gary, there is plenty of turbulence in the car that no doors or diffusers will clear it

Brilliant day today guys. We both really enjoyed it, and your company. Thank you so much. Very sunburned now though.

Remember........what happens in Scotland, stays in Scotland! That means we can only tell the entire Scottish nation!

Half doors make a big difference with wind deflectors. I used the soft bits ones. They roll up so small to store away and to get in and out I just undo the rear fastener and it folds down and clip it back on once back in the car.

So today we headed out in Tshirt weather again we drove out around loch earn and then a round about route to the ...... “ devils pulpit.......” a gorge full of little waterfalls and shafts of sunlight, you climb down a rough path and then socks n shoes are off to wade through the waters, met a couple of really sweet girls here who chatted away to Trina

from here we visited another waterfall and then a circular route through crianlarich back to Killin and then a wee trip up Ben lawyers before returning to Killin

unfortunately this is our last full day together and with happy memories and heavy hearts, tommorow we head for Home having had a fantastic time, meeting friends old and new. Sunburnt tired but refreshed, roll on the next one ........

Beautiful scenery, very Middle Earth-ish down in the gorge though, amazing places.

Well this it is all great adventures must end, home now  :(

After another hearty breakfast and Geoffrey going for the healthy option, it had fruit on top...???.... it was pack up and load up then we headed for Home meandering our way north in no great rush , we stopped for a picnic on the banks of the Spey

so 1764 miles in 10 days including the little hiccup in the middle which saw us lose 2 days, this aside the car ran great, dead chuffed with her, so will give her a good going over before.......... the next adventure :d
