I know what you mean. We're so used to tinkering with westies we forget the weight of "normal" car stuff. I nearly did my back in taking the wheel off my Civic after being used to the OZ superleggerras on my car - the Civic ones weigh a ton!

I think the worst enemy of leather seats are jeans, more accurately the rear pocket studs.  They can wreck havoc quite quickly.

Yeah, I always choose jeans without them where possible.
