Arrived at the hotel. Things are looking good so before anything else 4 large beers for all the Spanners.

By the way I'm sure that Yorkshire Spanner @marcusb has mucked up a couple of the Tyre software hotel locations. This is twice we went to the wrong side of town.

Hotel is the dogs dangles. Do I know how to pick em?

The food selection at the hotel and about town is great, although we did dine out at the local kebab place. @marcusb has just scuttled past us to suss it out.

Nearly at our journey end. Only another night in Smuid in Belgium and then the final leg to Zeebrugge to catch the ferry home.

The drive from Langres to Smuidd is circa 180 miles. The roads are getting less twisty the further north we go but yesterday a few fast flowing twisty sections were a welcome treat. Will have to see what today brings.

Looking forward to breakfast this morning, don't know why maybe just a good cup of coffee is required to kick start the day.

Well after all the good weather things had to change I suppose, we all set off in nice morning sunshine , about half way to Smuid @Terryathome and me got separated by a large wagon carrying tree trunks throwing bits of bark all over, Terry took a different turn to me whilst behind it.

We were now out of radio range and I was getting no response from Terry mobile either, then I got a message from Caroline saying Terry phone is goosed c u at the hotel.

Then the rain started (for us anyway) changed the deflectors to doors at a fuel stop and braved it without the half hood. A bolt of lighting struck very close to us and the rumble of thunder was nearly as scary as the bats lol.

Arrived at the last hotel wet, very wet and was greeted by @terryathome in the car park with planks of wood to get me over the kerb, cheers Terry ... he then scuttled of to restore his phone to factory settings :-)
