Biggest thing I remember about driving home mine on collection day was the wife, who follwed me home,  constantly flashing me...

Well, that would certainly distract me. :d

Arrived home safe and sound.

Forgot to take my sat nav with me so took a rather more circuitous route to Loughborough than planned but then it was plain sailing

Lots of rain but car ran faultlessly, just drank rather a lot of fuel :-)

In gear acceleration is incredible but bizarrely you don't feel it, the torque (over 350 lb ft) just hurls the car forwards without breaking sweat

Cleaning starts tomorrow - weather permitting

It's the special twin fuel tank model, one tank to start it and one tank to move it. :d

Welcome to the world of V8 ownership. You'll soon learn to plan all trips out via petrol stations. :d

Yeah, owning a V8 does seem to involve a certain amount of being pushed! :p  :getmecoat:

(Though you're supposed to run out of electricity in the Nissan, not the V8!)
