Dvla have actually contacted some zcar mini owners requiring IVA tests be carried out. Unfortunately the cat is out of the bag there Quote
nice_guy Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Next episode is coming soon. According to twitter. Homemade Smiths-like gauges. That's my type of overkill. Can't wait. Quote
corsechris Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 Does feel like they are milking it just for the views doesn't it. I too wanted to know what happened to The Escargot. Guess it didn't get the views they wanted? ...just looked, Ep 5 of Le Truck got over 500k views after 2 years, last proper Binky got 720k in just over 6 months. The seat trimming etc not done so well on views. Quote

The only explanation I could figure is a batch of 3.3v ordered (and they don't like being fed 5v, oh no). I think next episode they'll get rid of the microservos, I purchased the best nano class servo money could buy for my gauge interpretation, funnily enough very smiths lookalike, and they all drift eventually Servo potentiometer feedback is not consistent, that's why you have trims on a radio control transmitter. I ended up with a stepper motor for that reason, even if i don't like the init dance.. 1 Quote
