60 two weeks ago and owned the Westy for almost 12 months. First kit car, although I did have a Panther Kallista built back in 1979, in a moment of madness!

51, I started thinking about building a car when I was 47ish picked the kit up at 48.5 and had it IVA a few weeks before my 49th birthday - cheaper that the other mid life crisis options.....although I now have carbon fibre and electronics addictions.......

53 last week, had my Westfield for 3 years in June.

Must have been a mid-life crisis, Got kit car, bought private reg. for my Alfa and sort of grew a beard when I turned 50.

Didn't trade the wife in though.

Built a Dutton Sierra Drophead when I was 21.

Hi,

67 in a couple of weeks and I'm 6 months into my build. Did have a Fury that I built and sprinted about 10 years back.

Bought a Westfield when I was 49 and have owned one ever since ( different models) and am still competitive in the speed series  even though I am now 68 yrs old

Yours is a bit of a time warp situation though Gary.

After all, you were only 37 when your kit came out of the factory

There's hope for me yet then! :)

I'm 51 now, Westie is 16 & we met 6 years ago. Took me almost 30 years to realise my dream of owning a '7esque'
