Captain Colonial Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Inconsiderate gits! They should clear the way for you! Quote
Kingster Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 OK, how about this route - avoids Bawtry and the rest of T' Tour de Lasses - means we miss picking up Stu as it swings us east of Derby Or this one - more like the original but slower than the one above Thoughts? Quote

chriss1455 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Either one looks good to me. Although would be nice to go past as many people looking to join us as possible Quote

Andy - a15cro Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Im easy, I'm a bit under pressure as the cars still in bits,, Im snowed under at work and just been told I have to go on a job at 6pm tonight! That sun better shine tomorrow or I will be a bear with a sore head lol Quote
Kingster Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 I'm aiming to be at the petrol station at 8am so that I'm filled up and ready for you lot to arrive I did not attempt to fit my shiny new CarbonNV dash yesterday as I didn't want the car in bits today - means it will still have the old dash with unsightly cut-outs, but figured I didn't want to rush cutting holes in carbon! Anyway - better get yer finger out Andy! Quote
Kingster Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Robin & Marcus Assuming we do the non-motorway route, we could meet you at Snaith Hall Filling Station - its 100 miles from where we fill up, so about right for us anyway Two hours eta - so 11.15 ish Edit doh! 8.15 plus 2 is 10.15! Quote
Kingster Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Then we head for Stu and meet at another filling station here - Appleby Magna, Swadlincote DE12 7BJ 2h30m estimate - so say 1.30pm EDIT eta about 12.45 Then this route to the show - unless Stu knows better with his local knowledge? 1hr estimate so at the show for 2.30pm EDIT eta 1.45 to 2.00 So if we want to arrive earlier - we need to move it all forward or revise the route - personally, I'm OK with the timings, but obviously would like to help as much as possible with the set up etc Quote
tex Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Dont think the westy will be making the trip this year, too far in what looks like not so good weather. Will be there in the tin top tho Quote

Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 11ish at Snaith looks good to me. Can't see the maps on my phone, I'll look on the laptop later. Just getting all my stuff together, think I'm gonna need a bigger car. Quote
Andy - a15cro Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Back end together, battery is flat! Arghhhhhhh Quote
