Stu Faulkner Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Looks good to me. I'll meet you at the petrol station as discussed above. As for local knowledge, thats as good a route as any apart from the motorway. I don't realy know Coventry that well. Quote
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Just seen the weather on the BBC news. Doesn't look too bad for the journey down, maybe some rain. So, is it roof on, or off and waterproofs on, or just go for it? Quote
Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Dont think the westy will be making the trip this year, too far in what looks like not so good weather. Will be there in the tin top tho Softy Quote
Kingster Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Timings update! As a programmer my maths skills are great when dealing with variables, integers, booleans etc but not so good in the real world when it comes to simple addition it seems! We plan to leave at 8.15, so 2 hrs later it will be 10.15 at Snaith. Then say around 2h30m to Swadlincote area makes 12.45 so 1pm should cover it, and arrive at the show around 2pm. Quote
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Ok, we'll be in Snaith 10:15 to 10:30 Quote

Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 We made it here, a couple of showers and that hail stings your face. Tents up, and I hope the neighbours don't keep me up all night. 1 Quote
