Had some great news.  :t-up:  :t-up:  :t-up:  :t-up:

I have been speaking with  friends, Will Brix and Jonathan Wilson, who both work for Bacardi and are aware of our Scotland trip.

They have organised for six free tickets for us to attend the John Dewar's Whisky distillery in Aberfeldy.  :d  :d  :d  :d  :d

The invitation at present is for Tuesday 7th June, but this will affect our trip to Durness Castle.

I have asked Jonathan to confirm if we can attend on Wednesday 8th of June at 10.00am.

The tour will last about 1.5 hours.

I will update further once I hear back from Jonathan.

Hello Team.

This was my original route to take us from Glencoe to Skye.

If you boys and girls are up for it, we can have a small diversion up to Beach na Ba.

This would be the new route and only adds 60 miles or so.

I think it would a fantastic addition.

No not as yet.

I keep meaning too every year but never seem to do it.

I wanted to do it last year but didn't and I have been checking the weather forecast and it doesn't look too bad.

its a fair run from glencoe to applecross and you need to do the whole pass and a stop at the Inn we would have to leave glencoe about 8 in the morning .

Setting off early is not a problem for me if you want to do it.

Mornings are the best part of the day.  :d

If you don't fancy it, it is not a problem and it certainly won't spoil anything.

That would be great if wanted to tag along.

We will be going to Dunnottar on Tuesday 7th.

I envisage we will be there around 11.00 to 11.30am.

It depends if the lads I am with want to be out and about early.

If they do then we could be there earlier.
