In any case I think that at every event I have done this year I have been in a Westfield only class which suits me fine. However if we were in a non road going class on the day (even if just Westfields) would the cars then need an MSA log book? All cars competing in Hill Climbs or Sprints must be presented for scrutineering with a valid Competition Car Log Book/Vehicle Passport or an MSA Recognised Vehicle Identity Document unless the car is currently licensed for use on the public highway and is competing in a road legal condition or is currently used in circuit racing and is entered in an event on an occasional basis only. Doesn't mean they cant be road goingI agree JohnIf you present your car in a road going condition ie MOT, Taxed and Insured then a DVLA V5 log book is fine. If you present your road registered car in a non road going condition then you need an MSA log book. Garry Bunn - Derby & Notts Joint AO Posted October 14, 2015 Share Posted October 14, 2015 I have run in Mod Prod with the car road legal on 1B tyres and later in the day put slicks on to try and had to get a qualified Scrutineer (they don't all do them) fill out a log book request......it was at Aintree if I remember correctly.
