I have no doubt Lewis will be world champion, he looks so calm and collected and without any pressure which must really wind Nico up. He's certainly winning the mind games which is half the battle. Just hope his reliability gremlins don't strike again!

Lewis is his own worst enemy IMO  , won't be satisfied with winning the WC by finishing 2nd and that could be his downfall . he'se thrown championships away before which could have been his only for a  massive must win ego .

 

still can't help thinking how phoney  F1 cars are atm though , with massive use of the "overtake button " and all cars pretty much the same down to very tight formula restrictions

First things first, here's hoping Lewis qualifies in pole or 2nd.  AD not the greatest overtaking track in the calendar, so he needs a solid trouble-free qualifying tomorrow.

 

Also good to see Jules breathing on his own and repatriated back to France.  Unconscious still yes, but it's a small step forward which can only be good.

Hope Lewis makes it but my gut feel is that he'll be robbed - hope I'm proved wrong  - I actually like Nico and it's a shame they're up against each other - unlike other "Germans" Nico comes across as quite a nice guy (but then he's not really German !).
