I'm away all weekend (my stag do - eek) but should be back (in body, at least) on Monday. At this point there's a possibility we could have reached 5 cameras so you'll all either get a partial refund or a free suction or roll bar mount

Wasn't too chuffed being shepherded round Asda at 2pm on Saturday looking like this, but it's all part of the fun.

 

 

 

Anyway, thanks to those who have been in touch over the weekend. The next purchase will be the 5th one so I have got plenty of roll bar mounts and suction mounts in stock ready. Anyone who's bought one as part of this GB, I'll get a refund arranged for you once the 5th camera goes through.

This is true. There was a lot of contention as to whether the suit was a sheep or a cow, we really couldn't tell...!

 

 

In GoPro news - I've come into work this morning to find information about a new Hero3+ model that's due for release imminently: http://gopro.com/cameras

 

It appears to be an evolution of the current model rather than a whole new version (hence the 3+, I guess, rather than being a 4), but obviously this is now the latest model, so I feel pretty miffed some of you guys have very recently purchased the 3.

 

It appears the 3 will continue to be sold 'while stocks last' at a discounted price (but this hasn't been decided yet).

 

Basically my question is - those who have purchased a 3 at the discount and with the free mount (I will start contacting you all now even though we haven't completed on the 5th camera yet and sort out the free mounts), are you happy with that deal? It equates to ~25% off which will still be less than the 'new' RRP on the Hero3, but I just want to make sure everyone is satisfied with what they have.
