Depends whether the sprinters can spare the time/want to run their cars over lunch.

Its looking increasingly as if, subject to time, we may get a couple of escorted laps, not just the one.

if I can sort my traction control and yaw control out in time.

You don;t need any of that electronic stuff, just use the right foot. If I can manage it with 650 bhp, I am sure you can with a little crossflow  :d  :d  :d

Agree with Nick

I used to have all the whistles and flutes but prefer brain/right foot control

The laps will be behind a "pace car" of some description, so no racing!

Should be good fun though. I'm really looking forward to it.

Nick, Reverend Tel, the addition of electronic trickery to my car is merely a subject of mirth amongst my friends in the tree industry who dont understand why I would buy a car that cant tow anything, cant carry anything. doesn't have a winch. doesn't have 4x4 or anything vaguely useful.

On the subject of traction control I already have that fitted in the drivers seat as I am too scared to go quick enough to break traction.... :d   I am hampered by a daughter who's only words of encouragement are "dont die" and a partner who reminds me I am not insured in the event of death..... I'm new to all this "drive as quick as you can" lark so bear with me while I learn the ropes and build up my book of excuses for use in the paddock.

Our team is funded on a shoe string this year owing the current state of the UK Tree Industry and "austerity measures" but suffice to say I am loving every minute of the few events I have done.

Anyway back to the garage to see if I can squeeze in a sequential gearbox before tea-time  :p  (joke)

Yours in Motorsport

James Alexander BSc (Hons), MFI, B&Q and Loggologist....
