  7. Having had a change to our monthly meeting for February, we are back to normal for this month. Lots to catch up on, including last month's slot car event! The top 3 slot car drivers, with trophies! Hope to see you all at The Falcon, Birmingham Road, Hatton, CV35 7HA, from around 7.30pm.

  8. I’m brave enough but unfortunately this clashes with a semi-final snooker match. Have a good evening all 👍

  12. Evening all, It’s been brought to our attention that several of you may have received a confirmation email that suggested you had been added to a Reserve List for the above event. This email is to confirm that is not correct. We are pleased to say your entry is confirmed. At the time of writing, we still have 10 spaces remaining on Saturday and 12 places remaining on Sunday. We’re aware that the website is not up to date, and we have a dedicated working group of Committee Members that are working hard to rectify this. In the meantime, you can view the entry list here. Please check your email confirmation for information about garages, including when they go on sale and how to book. The Entries Secretary will be in touch in due course to confirm the entry list and provide your competition number and Final Instructions. Please do not reply to this email. If you have any questions or concerns about your entry status, please contact entries@longton-dmc.co.uk Best regards, Gavin Leadbetter | Assistant Clerk of the Course | Secretary of the Meeting | Safeguarding Officer

  15. How wonderful to see a gem of an ‘old school’ classic. It would be a shame if it ended up in France, rather than staying in the club, but good luck with the sale nonetheless.

  16. Thanks Eveveryone great start to the season, Qauli was very wet and im not one to enjoy that challenge but I was very happy with P7, given I qualified P19 in october at Silverstone this was a big leap up the grid. there were a few fast boys who would likley fly past in race one so was very happy to finish P10 although I did have so damage to the fresh paint and cut a tyre sidwall down to the cords. Race 2 was much cleaner although a lock up into Vale on the last lap cost me 2/3 places. still a good start to the season at a circuit I dont like, Snetterton is in 3 weeks on the 6th April which is another place i havent spent much time and is a power led track so being above the min weight isnt ideal. moving on later into the better tracks of Oulton park, Angelsea, Croft, Cadwell and donnington all of which i love and have had good results at last year. we wind up at brands hatch in october where I have never done a lap before so testing will be paramount their. anyway most of the rounds are live on you tube and most races are very good club motorsport to watch. thanks
