  1. This weekend 4 friends and I went Manchester -> Darlington -> Drymen -> Kinlochleven -> Girvan -> Manchester, departing Thursday night and returning Sunday night. Just over 1000 miles all in. Absolutely brilliant trip. I may do a mini write up covering some of the unbelievable roads we traversed. Mixed group of cars that covered 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 cylinders. I am astonished how good Rainsport 5s are. Couple of issues on the car but otherwise very good times. North shore road of Loch Leven Moniaive

  3. I didn't want to post before the Warwickshire Trip had taken place, so as not to confuse matters! A few members that couldn't make it to the Wellesbourne museum asked if there was any chance of visiting the Woodford Vulcan, instead, so here we are!! As ever, numbers are limited and I need to confirm with them as soon as possible. So please let me know if you'd like to come. They open at 10am, which is when I suggest we meet. Our slot is from 10.30am. "The Avro Heritage Museum warmly welcomes visiting car clubs during the summer season. As part of the visit, car club members get the opportunity to take a group photograph of the vehicles alongside our Vulcan bomber, the only white example of its type in the world. Car club members are charged standard admission prices (£9) plus an additional £3 per vehicle for the Vulcan photoshoot experience. Cockpit tours can also be booked on the day (subject to availability). There is a cafe on site, too, plus experienced museum "floor-walkers" to answer questions etc. How to get there.

  5. Anyone fancy a run up to Oulton Park this Sat. Round one of the CNC heads. Peter Higginbotham, is running his two Westfield's, driven by his son's Alek and Connor. @Connor Modro Both cars compete in class B, for cars with engines upto 2.5lts naturally aspirated, and running slick tyres. There are also a further two Westfield's competing, along with a couple of Caterham's. See full entry list and time table below. Alek Connor Entry List - Class's A,B,D,G run together. Time Table

  14. What an amazing day! Thank you @Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO for organising. Really enjoyed seeing you all and the Vulcan too. The Vulcan volunteers were Incredibly informative. Could have chatted to the ex-Vulcan pilot all day. I can’t believe the small size of the cockpit. Those instruments looked incredibly simple for the job the Vulcan had to perform. Andy bomb bay
