  3. As part of the club's 40th Anniversary I think the best way to celebrate is to drive our Westfield's, so why not join Glen and I for a drive around the Peak District. Meeting point details and route plan will be posted on here the week before, let's invite the sunshine too shall we?

  6. @Captain Colonial I suggest then, you don't tell your doctor that you've got a pain around the entrance of your back passage....................as his reply is likely to be "as long as you use it as an entrance, you'll likely have problems" !

  7. Yes, we will be there and we will be doing a run out beforehand if the weather is dry and at least above the minus 2 that it was the other year. Thank you to Andrew and Clare for organising x

  8. Maybe a bit late to be relevant but I came across these in the garage today from when I removed my harness: Maybe the sizes aren't that standard. David

  9. Prints in the pictures are still in PLA as these were my final test prints to confirm sizing and mounting with 2mm foam around the print. Ive sent the final designs, 4 different vent designs, to get printed in ASA carbon so I'll see how they hold up. "ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is a high-performance, UV-resistant, and durable 3D printer filament designed for outdoor, long-term, and high-temperature applications. Often considered a superior alternative to ABS, it resists weathering, chemicals, and fading." Vents are NOT symmetrical, they are a reverse image of each other, look at the top row of hex's in the below image. I also found that the vents on my bonnet/hood where different sizes. I found the passenger side to be 2mm wide and longer than the drivers. I ended up making a number of test prints 1mm larger than the last to get the best fit. This was one of these quick weekend projects Im now 4 weeks into.
