  2. @DannyTGS well done for fixing your brake lights after @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO commented on them on Sunday 🤣 he will be pleased to know I’ve put new bulbs in Becky’s car as well 😜 so that just leaves @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative !!!! Has Glen fixed them yet ? I should hope so …. his got more time on his hands than the rest of us 🤔

  3. Received refurbished shocks for my track Westfield from https://www.thunderlane.eu . I bought the car in 2018, with a few years of history before that, and I think the shocks had never been overhauled. They got new bearings, thinner valves for a lightweight car, new bump stops, etc. They were dyno tested (I don’t understand those diagrams at all 😕, but I was assured they were matched in pairs). I’m really curious whether I’ll feel the difference. When they were “new” ( I mean after few seasons in Westfield Cup NL , and on some endurance challenges (got few broken wishbones with that car ) , even on the softest settings the car was quite darty. Hopefully this effort and the expense — will be noticeable 🙂 Edit – oh, and I had my springs measured: front (RED) 60 N/mm, rear (BLACK) 40 N/mm. Not sure if this is right or wrong, but at least I now have a baseline if I learn which way to go softer or stiffer at the front or rear in the future.

  4. Our regular meet day falls on New Years Day this year, so we've postponed it a week, to the 8th Jan. As usual, the Golden Pheasant, around 7pm if eating, else 7.30pm

  5. Tight space to work there… hopefully my pressure switches will keep working, so I won’t have to break my fingers trying to fit something similar 🙂 well one is with hanging pedlas so easier access.

  6. Great pics @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO, what was your reply to Darren? no apology required, it was great to see you and definitely come again Great to see you have taken evasive action against the cold meaning to could make the 1 hour journey to meet us in comfort, well sort of comfortable, in Westfield terms😁

  9. Hi Ian Great to see you thinking of coming out again. Either car is going to be a lot of fun and competitive in your hands. Also this year we are planning on having the Main Championship with 10 events counting, then a Hill Cup and a Sprint Cup if you prefer those events, 7 to count, see below :- " Our ‘2026 7s Speed Series’ ‘provisional calendar; you will see that we have been extremely lucky to secure a large number of quality events for both Hillclimbs & Sprints. With this in mind, it gives us the exciting opportunity to try something totally different for our 2026 7s Speed Series Championship. In short, we will now be able to offer to our 7s Speed Series registered competitors the following: · Overall ‘7s Speed Series Championship’: Best of 10 events count from all events · The Speed Hillclimb Cup ‘Hillclimbs’ only’: Best of 7 Hillclimb events count out of all Hillclimb events · The Sprint Cup ‘Sprints only’: Best of 7 Sprint events count out of all Sprint events · The ‘Mini Series Cup’ mixture for both ‘Hillclimbs & Sprints’: best of 5 events count out of 7 nominated events The above will run alongside the overall championship, you will see that there is now something for everyone i.e. the main 7s Speed Championship or different series running alongside the full championship - depending on your own personal preference. Send me a PM if you'd like to chat about it. Cheers Nick

  10. Was a great day, the batteries in my gloves died literally 1/4mile from home so couldn't have timed it better, I have a link cable to run from the car battery so will have to figure that out next time, Socks worked a treat too ♨️ The DRL's looked smart, I've LED headlamps to fit too but i need the buckets for them but mine are budget non DRL's haha

  12. A great day out as usual and thanks to @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative keeping us on nice lightly trafficked roads. Good to meet @DannyTGS today. How were my new DLR's in your mirrors today? I've often thought about taking this pic as I pass it in and out of the peaks. Today I remembered and made it happen. As I was taking a Selfie. @Darren Harvey (not in his Westie) stopped to ask If I was Bagpuss! Stay tuned to find out how I replied! Have a great New Year All!
