Arrived unexpectedly Wednesday! Obtained courtesy of a local WSCC WhatsApp group member Rory Jones. He's probably on here too but I don't know his handle. He and some friends did a charity event for the British Heart Foundation. It was a box-kart race in Bristol. This was their 2nd time hence the 'return' bit. It made the Points West news and he very kindly allowed me to buy a shirt! I mean how could I resist right! This will be my shirt for Malvern next year, hopefully it will be 4th time lucky as I've been kiboshed every time so far! 🥺 It would be nice to meet some of the names and faces I now know from this forum! Your efforts are much appreciated Rory!

You might laugh at this.. But I've got or had... a nice expensive pair of ear phones that have a silicone covered volume/on/off control built in. Not the first time it's happened, but I've realised sun tan lotion, manages to destroy silicone very well! It goes all very soft and falls apart. So theres an option... probably a bit expensive though 😆

I thought I would resurrect this thread as we are entering the time of year that see's mental health issues raise their heads again. Local to me a young girl hung herself after being made redundant which was the straw that broke the camels back from what others have said. Plus today a person has been hit by a train again near where I live, not clear yet if this was an accident but it was on a stretch not readily open to the public. I like many have had issues in the past and most of us may know people who might appreciate a friendly chat, so I know we are busy but that chat might be just what they need. Just a thought

OT but never touch anything painted, plastic or similar after using an insect repellent with DEET in it. It's a better solvent than Acetone.

Well, I converted three iPhone live images into video, edited them in CapCut into a six second clip then added music and uploaded to YT for my McLaren Artura post, and it wasn’t even orange! 🤪🤪 Too much time on my hands 🤣🤣

Yeah same here but seems hardly worth the effort for 10 seconds of Aston Martin. Maybe if it had been orange I'd be more motivated 😂

Correct, it's better to use the free storage of YT, than clog up our paid for server space.

The rules vary slightly by state, with it generally being more difficult and involved than the UK but it is doable. I was building mine for use in Australia before moving back to the UK and the IVA seemed easy compared to requirements there...

That’s what I do with videos Steve, chuck them on YT and put a link here, seems to work.

DON'T You may get rid of the silicone but you will never get rid of the white smears of sun tan lotion on the paint/gel coat. My ex wife insisted on covering herself and our son before going out , Three cars paintwork was ruined where they touched the car . I tried all sorts of solvents to remove it and it looked gone and then came back a few days later .
