  2. I have machined up some new peddle bushes and set screws as I noticed they had a bit of sloppy movement, side to side. Now the clearance is 0.2 mm so hopefully all play now eliminated. Also sourced a lovely carbon gearknob form the WSCC and have made an aluminium bush to fit. Type 9 gearbox shaft measured 12.3mm OD for reference.

  7. You won't be able to fit it, as you have to slide it into the brake bracket then slide it into the clutch bracket.

  8. Not done the clutch as it was play free, only done 8000 miles. I would just make a set screw if required rather than a stud.

  10. Fresh out the mould! Used a touch too much spray glue so the fabric didn’t slide too easily over itself under vac so a few spots with some bridging, but all in all quite happy 🤙🏽

  11. Yes I go with that i love going out on solo drives when I can really open the taps but then on the other hand we go out on as regular as possible on area club drives I don't know if you have many other westies near you on these drive outs we drive in a reasonably orderly manner but it's seeing a westie in front of you and looking in the mirrors and seeing more behind you realize just how special it is to own and drive one and to be part of such a great club with like minded members

  12. Thank you Bob. Yes, I copied and pasted every page in it's entirety directly from the forum (including comments) into a Word document, keeping my text in 'black' and changing club member comments to 'blue'. Tbh, it was an extremely tedious and time consuming process, but I wanted to capture everything. The final couple of pages show the emojis of all the contributors 🙂. After formatting to remove spaces between entries and to get suitable margins, I saved the file to 'pdf' (approximately 94 Mb in size) and sent it off to an internet company be printed. The printing cost less than £100, compared to almost £200 in one of the high street 'specialist' shops.
