  1. Something non car related…. Just 3D printed a skull bowl for Halloween sweets, and a scary spider to keep the small person entertained during half term 🕷️🎃💀😊

  2. A bit of a last minute one this, but I had a free morning and suggested a run down across Dartmoor, but had to be back in Crewkerne by around 12.30pm. The weather looked a little dodgy too, so in the end we opted for a meet in Cullompton Services with four cars making the trip, myself, Adrian, Colin and Gareth & Linda - that is, once I drove from the wrong service station to the correct one . Deciding to stay further East to stay in the better weather, we drove over the Blackdown Hills in the general direction of Chard, then wound our way down to Charmouth. Soon after Charmouth we lost Adrian to a worsening Throttle Position Sensor problem, and he had to limp home with a popping and banging car which has now fortunately been fixed. After Charmouth, we headed roughly along the coast via West Bay to the viewing point overlooking Chesil Beach and Portland, somewhere I often find myself in the Westie! Back to West Bay for a coffee, then I headed home in time to collect my ladies from the train station, and the others ended up in Dawlish for lunch. A great morning's run with some surprisingly nice Autumn weather, although looking at the last picture one might consider it more of a splat than a blat

  3. Westy being kept company at the moment by a lovely Sagaris that's in for an engine capacity increase from 4 litre to 4.5 litre (already has in-house ported head and uprated cams and carbon airbox) . Two Great British sports cars, love them both.

  8. I went to view a 450 Chimaera on Wednesday at Lowe Classics near Abergavenny. They have some very nice cars for sale, nearly all on sale or return. They don't seem to mind people popping in for a nose but if you want a drive you need to book. They also I think sometimes do a kinda cars and coffee type thing on weekends now and then. Next door is a large workshop who do all their maintenance on the cars, they are young guys who really seem to know their stuff as they have worked on so many classics and exotica. They have also had quite a few kits through here over the years. If you're local and are looking for someone to work on your Westfield or classic, they'd be well worth talking to. Here are some of the cars they had for sale, some very valuable stuff there! Classic cars for sale in Abergavenny | Lowe Classics https://share.google/eKRXGq6Gur8dCgRdc

  11. Peak District AO here, you think that I would be in charge? no no, not while this lot are around. I was finishing early today because it's raining and going dark at 5, these nutter's tell me, 'these cars have light's don't they?' 'we need more cake' and that's on the ladies table!! We met at the museum, setting off in glorious but freezing sunshine. Glynn's Porsche sounded awesome. Andy Westwood's Westfield is called Precious for a reason!! so he donned his t-shirt and came in the SLK Breakfast in the car museum We came out of the museum to rain, we had already put our roof's on. I had expected everyone to want to head off home, but no, so off we went. It stayed dry so we went through Chatsworth, following the coach from hell, never went above 15 mph. Thankfully we turned up onto Owler Bar, round and to The Cow Shed at Tideswell, where it was now raining. More breakfast Mr Westwood, how many can you eat in one day? The BOY's table. The 'bella bella' table, I mean GIRL's table Him again, Mr Westwood with the first cake of the day A bit of smart parking from Andy Gilbert and Ian at the Cow Shed. Sun's out! Sun's NOT out! Forced I was, forced, to go to The Smithy, Monyash for cake, even though it was raining and already turning dark. The other Andy, Mr Clarke this time, with warmed Apple cake and ice cream, watch out Martin, someone will steal yours!! Mr Westwood AGAIN! more cake Cosy inside The Smithy Andy and Becky with their offering A fantastic day out, we had a laugh, wrote a romantic novel and travelled the world, thanks for coming everyone. For the SORN brigade, don't leave it until next March to come and see us, for the rest of you, see you next time XXXXXXX

  14. Morning, Iam about to pull the trigger on a full cage so this will become available. It’s still on the car at present. Iam in no rush as the cage will be a 4-6 weeks lead time. If someone was desperate I could remove it before hand… located in Kent (CT14) collection only or may be able to meet somewhere? I purchased new from Westfield when I built the kit in 2021. Good condition, few stone chips as expected. Nothing drilled into it etc. just cable ties and brackets used to fasten camera/hi level light etc too the bar. The stickers will remove easily if required. save yourself the lead time and grab a nice winter upgrade £250ono

  16. Yes 80k is commonplace price wise. They are the last of the truly bonkers TVRs though, of the "Peter Wheeler" era before the Russian took over, and the next bloke who's built only one prototype. RIP TVR.

  19. Thank you to all the daft people that came out to play today 🤔 I’m so glad that I don’t live with my mom anymore because we wouldn’t have been allowed out in the rain 🫣 A couple of photos of the day ( somebody has pinched some already 🤣) note no rain on the screen and following the crazy people to lunch ……. the long way round because the route changed after @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative gave instructions on which way we were going 🙄 as for my parking at the Cowshed…….in my defence the gap left by @AndrewBClarkeand @ianaliwas huge you could of opened the door of a Rolls Royce , so in my normal race mode of driving I saw a gap and took it 😜 the stewards said it was a safe manoeuvre and I’ve not been fined 😎 And on the way home down the A515 we’ve finally been stopped at the rail road crossing to see a train go past ( we’ve drove this road hundreds of times and thought it was a disused track ) take care guys and see you all soon Luv Andy and Becky
